Job Story:
Global Wrap recently completed phase 1 of a three phase project in Largo, FL, providing weather protection for a longstanding client. This project involved wrapping four large mechanical shafts to keep them protected from the elements while they were stored and awaited transport to their destination.
Our team had to provide rapid solutions for this project due to logistical constraints - they had just two days to get this work completed. The crew worked day and night to get this job done on time for our client. The wrapping process was coordinated effectively with our client: first our crew laid down our heavy duty plastic on the flatbed storage trucks, then the mechanical shafts were placed on top of our plastic via crane. From there, our team wrapped each shaft and used torch guns to shrink our plastic, creating a drum-tight seal to provide maximum strength and protection while the shafts awaited shipment.
Global Wrap takes pride in delivering high-quality, efficient solutions to our clients. This project is another example of the versatility of our solutions and our commitment to serving the needs of our clients.
