Job Story:

When a major storm ripped off part of the roof at a large warehouse in Jackson, TN, Global Wrap was called in for an urgent solution. The client needed a fast, effective way to protect the remainder of the warehouse and its valuable contents - and they needed it quickly. Within a week of the initial call, our team mobilized to install a custom shrink wrap enclosure inside the warehouse to isolate the damaged area.

This emergency installation involved installing 40 foot high temporary walls using industrial shrink wrap in the middle of an active, high-traffic warehouse. Working from scissor lifts and navigating around the warehouse's structural truss system underneath the roof deck, our crew carefully sealed off the affected area, creating a secure barrier against the intruding elements.

Midway through the project, the client requested a layout change to keep access open to a critical area of the facility. Our crew adjusted the previously installed walls without delay, continuing work through long days and weekends to ensure the protective barrier was installed as quickly as possible. Along with changes in the installation areas, our team also created several openings in our system to allow for access, as requested by the client. Despite tight access, active environment, and requested changes the project was completed in just ten working days.

This project is a strong example of Global Wrap's ability to respond quickly and deliver high-quality, site-specific weather protection in any situation. Whether planned or unplanned, Global Wrap helps protect your project and keep operations moving.
