Hershey, PA - Temporary Curtain Walls

Category: Government

Size: 37,540 Square Feet

Job Story:

At Global Wrap, each project is defined by flexibility and dedication, and our latest project at the Pennsylvania State Police Museum is no different.

For this project, we were brought in to cover 37,540 square feet with our fire-retardant, recyclable, heat shrink temporary construction walls to enclose this building. The goal was to create a controlled environment so that the client could temporarily heat the inside of the building, allowing critical construction activities to continue through the winter months, with concrete pours being the most critical.

The project did not come without its challenges. Midway through our work, the client requested changes to our installation method, which required our crew to redo a portion of our work. Battling tough weather conditions, and coordinating around other trades on a very busy jobsite, our crew was able to adapt to these difficulties and complete the project to meet our client's needs.

This project highlights Global Wrap's commitment to delivering tailored solutions, no matter what the conditions are. By adapting to changes, overcoming obstacles, and meeting our client's requests, we were proudly able to help this project maintain its critical path to completion.
