CASE STUDY

Global Wrap®'s Flexible Dome was Installed Eight Feet Above the Roof Deck, Making Enough Clearance for the Workers.

Project Overview

The building was scheduled for demolition when the inspectors discovered asbestos in the roofing material. The roof had to be encapsulated and at the same time, the abatement company needed to work under the containment. Global Wrap® designed a scaffolding scope where they could install their cabling system, locking onto the scaffold legs. This flexible dome was installed eight feet above the roof deck, making ample clearance for the workers.

Global Wrap® designed and installed their Class 1 Environmental Containment temporary dome expeditiously, while being confronted daily with high winds coming off the large body of water near the site.

Conclusion

The Global Wrap® temporary dome enabled the client to continue production, all the while saving with Global Wrap®'s system as opposed to securing a rigid structure.

"Job well done, never thought your men could overcome the winds and rain."
