CASE STUDY
Global Wrap® Shrink Wrapped the Roof Deck When the New Roof was Delayed or Damaged.
Project Overview
A distribution center roof was damaged by hail, allowing water to leak into the center and the products within. Global Wrap® shrink wrapped the entire roof deck, 64,000 sq. ft., in less than a week. This action let the drying out of the interior begin and the use of the building possible before the new roof could be installed. Some contractors, if approved by the architects and manufacturer of the roofing materials, can also use the shrink film as a vapor barrier.
