Global Wrap® invented the process and provides a drum-tight, seamless, fire retardant shrink wrap containment for steel structures to help keep you on schedule. Buildings can be shrink wrapped in whole or level by level so you can remove the containment one floor at a time, or even a section as you install the curtain walls without jeopardizing the next level of the building wrap. If you need to do the fire proofing, we can even install the containment off the face of the steel. Access doors can be installed at various locations. We also shrink wrap partially completed buildings that have been stopped for financing reasons. Shrink wrap contractors come in many classes, but Global Wrap is the shrink wrap contractor of choice. We also specialize in interior protection, for re-roofing, dust and debris barriers and temporary enclosures. When Global Wrap® was called in by the national contractor building this high security complex, less than a hundred yards from the ocean, we knew we were in for a difficult containment. They also needed the containment four feet off the steel for fire proofing and equipment movement within the containment. Global Wrap designed the containment in such a way, as to fight the high winds, rain and movement of equipment and materials to move into the building as the interior was being installed. We worked hand in hand with the GC and the contractors in the ever changing scheduling and delays, but we completed the contract and have worked for the GC again and again.
