Global Wrap® was called in by the contractor, who tarped the face of the scaffolding, but couldn't enclose the upper side, top and walls on the roof line. This shrink wrap scaffolding project was in Wildwood, NJ on the ocean with the wind blowing every day. We had two storms within a week, with wind gusts up to 70mph, which damaged the unfinished containment. The four man crew, had the containment half way installed when the first storm came through damaging three 30 x 45' sheets. CEO Judith Seraphin and President Tony Seraphin flew to Atlantic City and assisted the crew in designing ways to combat the wind and rain to complete the installation. The third day there the next storm came through with wind gusts hitting 70mph in the middle of the night. At 3:00am the Seraphins and crew had to sit in the trucks and watch the containment take the pounding, which resulted in the loss of three more sheets. The next day had intermittent rains with 25mph winds. The following day was sunny and no wind, the crew was supplemented with three more men and they completed the installation at sundown. The job was bid at four days, it took ten. This project was done in conjunction with our Philadelphia office.

The contractor installed the tarp system around the scaffolding, but couldn't cap the scaffolding after trying to shrink wrap it themselves. After three failures, they called in Global Wrap. They then saw the battle GW went through with the wind and rain and told us they would never do the tarp system, or try to shrink wrap the scaffolding again.
